Alprep® Pad 

Alprep® Pad is a simple and convenient debridement product, rated by clinicians as effective and convenient to use. It can be used for small and large wounds, including non-infected wounds, infected wounds or wounds with suspected biofilm.1 Use Alprep® Pad to cleanse and debride the wound bed, the wound edge and periwound skin by gently wiping the surface of the wound.

Product description

Alprep® Pad simplifies cleansing and debridement.

With its unique slits design, Alprep® Pad increases the absorption2 and captures loose slough, non-viable tissue and biofilms.

  • The open structure of the dark grey foam is for loosening
  • The light grey softer foam is for absorbing and capturing
  • Unique slits design increases absorption2 and capturing of loosened slough, non-viable tissue and biofilms into the foam
  • The special triangular shape makes for comfortable handling. The packaging can also be used to wet and hold the pad

Usage

The product is intended to cleanse and debride the wound by loosening, absorbing, and removing non-viable tissue, skin scales including hyperkeratotic scales, slough, and exudate from the wound. The specially designed packaging ensures convenient use, as the case can be used to hold and wet the pad. You may use Alprep® Pad together with your preferred irrigation solution or in accordance with your local practice. Use Alprep® Pad to cleanse and debride the wound bed, the wound edge and periwound skin by gently wiping the surface of the wound.
