Biatain®

Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive

Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive

Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive conforms to the wound bed to reduce exudate pooling and delivers silver at the wound bed. Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive provides continuous anti-microbial effect during the wear time.* The dressing is also effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi for up to 7 days.* Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive is a soft and comfortable foam with bevelled edges for infected wounds.

Product description

Soft and comfortable foam for infected wounds

  • Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive with 3DFit Technology provides optimal healing conditions by conforming into the wound bed, absorbing vertically and retaining exudate
  • Release of silver directly at the wound bed
  • Release of silver takes place when the dressing is in direct contact with exudate, an ionic solution
  • Continuous anti-microbial effect during entire wear time*
  • The exudate is locked away and retained, reducing the risk of leakage and maceration of the wound edges and periwound skin

Usage

Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive is indicated for a wide range of low to highly exuding wounds with delayed healing due to bacteria or wounds at risk of infection. This includes acute wounds such as second-degree burns, donor sites, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds; and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. Biatain® Ag Non-Adhesive is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy and may be left in place for up to 7 days.
