Biatain® Superabsorber 

Biatain® Superabsorber is a soft, non-adhesive dressing that can manage high volumes of exudate, while protecting the wound edges delicate peri-wound skin from maceration. It contains superabsorbent particles which lock in exudate to create an optimal moist wound healing environment for faster healing.1,2

Usage

Biatain® Superabsorber is indicated for a wide range of medium to high exuding wounds in patients 3.5 kg and above. This includes acute wounds such as 2nd degree burns, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds; chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers.

Biatain® Superabsorber may be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the amount of exudate and is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy.
